Chosen, Confident, And Walking It Out!!!
Good morning!!!
We’ve made it to Friday, and as always, I want to thank you for showing up strong all week long—on the prayer line, in Bible study, and in your personal walk with God. Sunday’s word still lingers in my spirit: “God Is Choosing!” Remember, when God chooses you, it’s not just about position—it’s about purpose.
You were called out, set apart, and assigned. And today’s scripture ties it all together as we head into the weekend:

☀️ Start Your Day with God… read 1 Peter 2:4-10 focusing on 9. But you are not like that, for you are a chosen people. You are royal priests, a holy nation, God’s very own possession. As a result, you can show others the goodness of God, for he called you out of the darkness into his wonderful light. Chosen doesn’t mean perfect. It means set apart for purpose. S.O.A.K… much love!!! 💕
When Peter wrote these words, he was encouraging believers who didn’t quite fit into the world around them. Sound familiar? Being chosen by God often makes us feel different from the crowd—but that’s exactly the point.
We were called out from darkness, from past mistakes, from old ways of thinking, so we can show others the goodness of God.
Being chosen doesn’t mean you’ll always feel qualified—it means God has qualified you already. You’re a royal priest, part of a holy nation, and His very own possession. No one can undo what God has spoken over your life—not people, not past failures, not even your own doubts.

✅ Application + Encouragement:
Here’s how to walk this out practically today and through the weekend:
1. Own Your Identity: Write down “I am chosen, royal, holy, and God’s own.” Speak it over yourself until your spirit catches up with your mouth.
2. Show the Goodness of God: Serve someone else today. Buy someone coffee, send an encouraging text, or simply smile and show love on purpose.
3. Make Space for God’s Light: Set aside 15 quiet minutes today. No phone, no music—just you, God, and the reminder that His light lives in you.
