Restoration Is In The House — Let’s Fast & Trust God 🙏🔥

A Call to Fast. A Call to Trust. A Call to Be Restored.

Hey Pathway Family,

What a powerful move of God we experienced on Sunday! 🔥 From the first song to the final “Amen,” the glory of the Lord filled the house, and His word came forth with clarity and power.

Overseer Donnie delivered a message from Acts 9:1–11 titled “Blind Sight,” reminding us that God is after the places we hide. There’s a Damascus moment waiting for each of us—a place of overflow, breakthrough, and divine redirection. But not everyone will cheer you on toward Damascus. Some people want you to stay blind.

God is calling us higher… and this week, He’s calling us into a corporate fast. Why? Because restoration is in the house, and fasting aligns us with the restoration God desires to release.

✨ Let’s Begin the Fast: July 21–23 (Monday through Wednesday)

Fasting Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Prayer Times: 8 AM | 12 PM | 4 PM

🥦 Fasting Guidelines:

✅ Baked chicken & fish

✅ Vegetables, fruit, water with lemon

✅ Natural juices & spices

🚫 No red meat

🚫 No coffee

🚫 No shellfish

🚫 No butter or fried food

🚫 No soda

🚫 No sugar

🔑 No prayer = just a diet — Make time to read your Word and seek God.

📖 Start Your Day with God

Foundational Scripture: Joel 2:12-13 (NLT)

That is why the Lord says, ‘Turn to me now, while there is time. Give me your hearts. Come with fasting, weeping, and mourning… Return to the Lord your God, for He is merciful and compassionate…Fasting isn’t about what you give up—it’s about what you turn toward. S.O.A.K… much Love!!!

In Joel, God’s people were in need of healing, direction, and restoration—and His invitation was simple: Turn to Me. Through fasting, they weren’t just changing what they ate… they were changing what they craved.

God didn’t want their leftovers; He wanted their hearts. That’s what this fast is about—posturing our hearts toward Heaven so we can hear what He’s been trying to say.

This isn’t about religion or routine—it’s about restoration. God wants to deal with the blind spots, dark places, and hidden pain. And when we fast, we tell our flesh it’s not in control. We invite the Holy Spirit to search us, fill us, and transform us from the inside out.

✅ Practical Ways to Walk This Out Today:

• Set alarms for 8 AM, 12 PM, and 4 PM — pause and pray.

• Start your day with Scripture — even just one verse.

• Journal what God is speaking to your spirit through the fast.

• Let go of distractions that pull your focus from God.

• Speak this aloud: “God, I trust You with the dark places.”

🔥 The Benefits of Fasting

• Breakthrough in areas that have been stuck

• Clarity of vision and direction

• Strengthened spirit and discipline

• A deeper hunger for God’s presence

• Restoration of joy, peace, and purpose

🙏🏽 Prayer for the Day:

Father, I surrender to You in this fast. Search me, break me, and build me. Open my spiritual eyes like You did for Paul and lead me to Straight Street—the place where You align me with destiny. Thank You for the restoration that’s already on the way. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Let’s walk in unity this week. Something amazing is coming.

And remember—don’t just go through the fast… GROW through it.

Much Love 💕
