Can we pause and celebrate that we’ve made it to Wednesday—and not just any Wednesday, but a summer one! ☀️ This season brings sunshine, laughter, and opportunity—and today, an opportunity to grow wiser.

First, thank you again for showing up strong on Sunday and for continuing to follow along with our June Journal: Confirm the Plan. Your dedication matters. And with so much happening in our church family, we also want to say a huge CONGRATULATIONS to all our graduates and every student who completed another school year—you did it! 🎓✨ We celebrate you!

Foundational Scripture – Proverbs 15:22 (NLT) Let’s dive into the word…

Start your day with God. Read Proverbs 15:21-24 focusing on 22. Plans go wrong for lack of advice; many advisers bring success.” Don’t plan alone-wise counsel turns vision into victory! S.O.A.K… much love!!!

Let that soak in for a moment. The book of Proverbs is the book of wisdom, and today’s verse reminds us that wise counsel isn’t optional—it’s essential.

Too often we sit with powerful ideas, plans, and dreams, but never bring them into the light of wise, spiritual counsel. Why? Pride? Fear of judgment? Doubt? But here’s the truth: what you’re carrying is too important to fumble in isolation.

God has placed mentors, leaders, and godly voices around you to sharpen your direction. When we include others in the planning process—especially those rooted in the Word—we align more closely with the heart of God and reduce unnecessary delays and detours.

✍🏽 Reflection Question:

Have I shared the plan with spiritual mentors for guidance?

Take time today to prayerfully consider who you can reach out to and say, “Can I run something by you?”

That one conversation could unlock clarity you’ve been praying for.

✅ Practical Application:

1. Identify 1–2 spiritual mentors or mature believers you trust.

2. Pray before reaching out—ask God to prepare your heart and theirs.

3. Write down your vision or idea before sharing. Keep it clear.

4. Welcome correction—wise counsel doesn’t always agree with us.

5. Pray together and listen for God’s peace as confirmation.

Prayer for Today:

Lord, thank You for surrounding me with godly voices and wise mentors. Help me walk in humility and courage to seek counsel as I move forward in Your plan. Give me ears to hear, a heart to receive, and boldness to obey. Let today be filled with divine insight and alignment with Heaven’s blueprint. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Stay wise, stay open, and stay ready—success is hidden in wise counsel.
